Aeroplane Jelly comes in different flavours but today we'll just do the strawberry flavoured.
They come in powder form so just pour some hot water to dissolve them..
Stir well..
Instruction said to put equal amount of hot and cold water but instead of cold water, we used the apple & strawberry juice for more flavours!
Mix well again..
Got ourselves some real raspberry this frozen will do, you can use any fruits.
Put the raspberries in pre-chilled tumblers and pour in the Aeroplane Jelly mix but not to the top.
Let them cool in the fridge so the jelly would set..
We then made another batch, this time a raspberry flavoured with cranberry juice and pour this over the top of the strawberry jelly so you get a clear top on the surface.
Chill them in the fridge again..
The finish product; Strawberry flavoured Aeroplane Jelly with raspberries topped with raspberry flavoured Aeroplane Jelly with cranberry juice!
Maybe we went overboard with all the different flavours and ingredients but it sure tastes fantastic! Yummy!

ReplyDeleteMy Cina ahsoh's taste bud only know how to eat local agar-agar. If give me jelly, it feels like toy food. LOL. But with all the juices and raspberry, it must be yummylicious!

5xmom-i like agar agar too but to difficult to add the right amount of water, this aeroplane jelly is fool proof one! making it is like playing masak-masak! :)

ReplyDeleteIf you know what the main ingredient in jelly/Jello you would not want to eat it.
Ok here is the truth guys. Gelatine is made from animal hide or skin.
It is also the "jelly" looking stuff on top of your refrigerated soup.
Yuk !
anonymous-that's ok, i'm not a vegetarian anyway & i eat lots of food that's made with pork skin & other skins so it doesn't worry me! :)
