Hails

Summer is only 2 weeks away but yesterday we had the coldest day in November in 5 years! There were reports of snow in Ballarat and in the highlands and rain and hails in Melbourne too.

The sound of rattling made me come out to find tiny hails dropping all around us! By the time it was done, there were white clusters of ice everywhere outside. I took some pictures of the ones next to my front gate.

Here's a close up look at them pebbles of ice. Lucky they weren't as big as golf balls which fell a couple of years ago and dented my car all over and caused massive damages across Melbourne!

Hmmm... yeah - lucky there weren't any giant hails like last time...
(Quite scary - my friend said he heard a loud bang, saw the golf ball sized hail and then quickly ran back into Myers for safety... Haha)
