My First DVD Recorder

Eversince the DVD recorders came out a few years ago I've been thinking of getting one to replace my VCR to join the digital age. But unfortunately they costed a bomb and some of them still do until today..

Early in the morning I went to Aldi supermarket to find people lining up outside waiting for the store to open. I've never seen people lining up to get into a supermarket before and today I'm doing it too!

Me and a lot of other people couldn't wait to get our hands on one of the specials they have on sales today, a DVD recorder at $149.00 only! I've never seen a DVD recorder at this price before today so I gotta have it!

Its a no name brand called Tevion that is only sold at Aldi and I'm pretty sure its from China. It comes with the recorder, a remote control, RCA cable, instruction manual, 12 months warranty and even included batteries!

Its compatible with DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD, CD, MP3, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, CD-R and CD-RW. It records from TV, DV and USB inputs. It can also play jpeg and divx files! Yoohoo! I can play those bittorent movies straight away when I downloaded them, not that I download illegal movies coz thats illegal so don't do it people!

I'm still working out how the recorder works so let me play around with it a bit and I can let you know how good or how bad it is so stay tuned!
