Mine! Mine!

Today's post took place at the St. Kilda Festival that was 3 months ago! I didn't get a chance to post it because I was posting on my trip back then so here it is now.

Remember the animated movie Finding Nemo? Remember the annoying seagulls that went "Mine! Mine!" every time they find anything edible? And anyone who used to live in Australia would know we have to put up with these annoying birds everyday when we go to the beach.

But look! They're here at the festival. And they're causing a racket on the streets of St. Kilda squalling and crowing at any passerby but lucky there were just 2 of them.

They like to stick their beaks into ladies handbags and follow them around hoping to find something to eat and they're not shy about it either. Somehow these ladies thought they're kind of amusing.

But though annoying, they are quite popular with the children and lots of little boys and girls will come up to them and talk to them. In return they would sometimes give them show bags from the festival.

They tend to distract the traders as well, playing with their goods and posing for anyone who wish to photograph them. Cam whores to the max!

Girl: Hello Mr. Seagull, would you like some chips?
Seagull: Mine! Mine!

Love them or hate them, these seagulls were damn entertaining at the festival. I managed to capture a short clip of them creating havoc on the street, do watch it below.

You know, I always wonder if the people in costume are male or female...

...and then I get to wondering whether they're hot.

Coz I once saw a really hot girl coming out of costume...

That is very cute. And every wise personality will love it. Because this is not hurting anyone but spreading smiles all over. I like one of the quotes by author - But though annoying, they are quite popular with the children and lots of little boys and girls will come up to them and talk to them. Very wisely it makes its space in children. Which is the strongest part ever in a crowd. If once children starts loving any thing no one else stop doing that. There are several quotes on the stubbornness of children. There is a saying in India Never try to fight against the stubbornness of a child or a woman.
