Australian wines are considered one of the best in the world and the state of Victoria certainly has its fair share of excellent wine makers in the country. There are a lot of vineyards in Victoria, both large and small and Lovegrove Vineyard is one of the cosy small ones we visited... Set in the Yarra Valley, this vineyard has scenic views everywhere you look.
I must say, it is one of the prettiest vineyards I've been to.
In case you're wondering why I'm just showing you dead sticks, it's because grape vines are deciduous, their leaves die down in winter and will grow back when Spring comes.
There's a charming old wagon on the property which could be 150 years old.
Downhill, we find an artificial lake the owner built for practical reasons as well as good look.
We see the owner's dog who's very friendly to visitors that like to play by the lake.
Behind the back of the main building, there's a courtyard where it can be hired out for parties as well as a place for outdoor dining, which is exactly what we did here!
