Going Fishing!

Tomorrow is a day off and I’m thinking of taking the boat out to the bay and do some fishing with friends.

I love spending my days off enjoying my peace and quiet in my Pontoon boat out in the bay, not spending half a day cleaning the boat! That’s why good Pontoon boat covers can make a big difference. It keeps my boat clean from dirt, water and harmful UV rays so I can spend more time having fun in my boat than doing chores maintaining it. You can also find custom made covers for your Bayliner or Sunbrella boats with choice of different materials for them. Check out BoatCoversAdvice.com to find out which cover best suit your boat. As for myself, I'm going fishing!

The note says; I have a buyer for your property. Pls call Angelo-0418 339 827. It's a note from the local real estate agent and Angelo is probably the sales manager there. What lah?! No money to print business cards issit? Not very impressive giving me a hand written note lidat if you wanna buy my house leh!

Besides if someone so eager to buy my house then at least woo me kau kau, send me gifts lah, bottles of good wine, flowers for the missus, tell me I'm very hansem lah...donno how to suck up kah? Much to learn lah my young Angelo!

Look What I Unashamedly Bought Today

Went to the shops today and just couldn't help myself, I had to spend some money coz I was too weak to resist. Look what I unashamedly bought today.

Aurra Sing from the Star Wars Expanded Universe (meaning it's not from the main movies). Story is that she was a Jedi Padawan turned bounty hunter after the fall of the Jedi Knights. She later specialised in hunting Jedi under the mistaken belief that they abandoned and betrayed her.

Scorch or RC-1262, a Republic Commando who is one of the main fictional characters in the video game Star Wars: Republic Commando. Although he is a competent soldier and an excellent explosive technician, Scorch earned his nickname after an ordnance accident that left him without eyebrows for a short time!

This is Lobot who works for Lando Calrissian on Cloud City in Episode V. Guess how much I paid for this one, $1.85 nia! It's so cheap because it's very old stock and has depreciated in business term but for the staunch collectors, it's worth much much more than that! This can be classified as vintage item and will fetch a handsome price!

Now for the pièce de résistance, the DIE CAST Stormtrooper! This was on sale and it's half price, more importantly it is not made of plastic but metal! Woohoo! It also comes with it's own display case. Please don't hate me Sengkor!

Cream Cleanser

We went shopping at the supermarket last night when I noticed a particular product on the shelf that caught my imagination. I'm bad that way...

It was just a couple of cheap cleaning products called Cream Cleanser which I guess comes in paste or cream form for your normal daily cleaning chores. However I find the illustration a bit weird, what does it look like to you?

To me it looks like someone's pangsai! I'm going to do some house chores now.

Buying A House

Buying a house is probably the most important purchase anyone can make in their lifetime. That’s why it pays to do lots of homework before we get ourselves the mortgage for our dream homes.

A lot of new home buyers have no ideas on where to start but I would suggest to anyone planning on taking up mortgages to visit this website first to better prepare themselves to go hunting for a mortgage. This site is very informative on home loans, banking and even home improvement ideas so even if you have already committed yourselves to a mortgage you can find ideas on improving your greatest investment. You can also get ideas if you’re thinking of refinancing, the latest in interest rates and values on the properties you want to buy.

Me & The Monkey Bike

When I went to work today I saw something which tickled my fancy. It's a little electric scooter! My boss' other son bought this little toy a few years back but it's been sitting at my boss' house for a couple of years before he decided to store it here in the factory.

It's a bit dusty but nevertheless I still couldn't stop admiring the little monkey bike. It's cute don't you think? I wonder if I can take it for a ride on the streets?!

Don't know how much it was bought for but I don't think it would cost too much since it doesn't look as 'real' as some of the monkey bikes I've seen which are more powerful than this little mini scooter.

The dashboard has 2 dials, 1 for battery power indicator and the other is the speedometer. Top speed is 50 km/h wor! No pway pway hor! There's also the direction and headlight indicators.

The seat height is adjustable and the seat is fitted with springs to absorb shock impacts when riding to enable a more comfortable ride.

Even the front wheel has shock absorbers fitted like the real bike! Tyres are also filled with air like the real thing.

To start up the bike you just need to switch it on with the key.

The light from the headlight looks quite bright but I'm not sure if that's enough if you're riding at night, probably not enough to ride on the roads. Then again you shouldn't ride this on the roads anyway!

The left handle controls everything; it has the handbrake which is also the only brake, directional indicator, horn and headlight switch. The right handle controls the accelerator.

The bike is powered by a rechargeable battery at the bottom of the chassis. I don't know how to recharge the battery though coz I couldn't find an outlet for it.

The key also opens the back container for all your little knick knacks.

Cannot tahan anymore! I MUST take it for a ride, watch me riding the monkey bike!

Eric Schiffer In Death Wish Returns!

I heard they’re making a remake of the Charles Bronson’s Death Wish movie called Death Wish Returns and Eric Schiffer has recently agreed to star in it. Filming will start at the end of the year in Glasgow, Scotland and the movie will be released sometimes in mid 2008.

Eric Schiffer is a celebrity author, visionary and organizational leadership expert. He’s published a book on management called Emotionally Charged Learning and he’s also in discussions to appear in an action comedy film alongside a well known A-list star. The man’s got both fame and fortune on his sides. BusinessWeek Magazine named him one of the top ten entrepreneurs in America alongside with Richard Branson. If you’ve never heard of Eric Schiffer before you’ll soon be hearing a lot more of him in the near future.

The End Of My Blog

Me lafu me so much that she tagged me to prove her undying lafu for me. Thank you Me, I lafu you too and will return the favour one day. But why you have to gimme such a difficult meme wan? Aiyo..I racked my brain out thinking how to write this one! This siaw siaw meme is about what will I post about if I was dying tomorrow or if the world ends tomorrow. First of all, choy choy choy choy choy! How can I post about me dying lidat or the ending of the world?! OK lah I’m such good sport I’ll pway along but this is just pway pway only OK?

Now seriously people, if you knew you were going to die tomorrow would you still be posting your last entry in your blog? I would rather be enjoying the last few hours of my life with my loved ones, go and leave cussing comments in everyone’s blogs and konkek till I get wobbly legs! But lucky this is not my last post so I apologise if you are disappointed that I haven’t left rude, cussing comments on your blogs as souvenirs yet!

Then again what would I write about if the world was to end tomorrow? This makes even less sense. When you said the world ends do you mean the end of planet Earth and every living things on the planet perish or the world ends as in the human race dies out but life on Earth go on their merry ways? If you mean end of planet Earth then I would say you no go to skool wan hor? How’s your blog going to survive the Armageddon? But if you mean the end of human race then I would be more inclined to write my last post in the hope that some other species of animals may evolved to take over us humans as the dominant creatures and get to read all about me, me and only me! Don’t worry about what the human race was about, the new intelligent lives need only know about me! Or aliens from another worlds may come to Earth and learn about me also! So then the history of the future will be written about me and I will be immortalised!

Now before the end comes I'm supposed to tag 5 people so consider yourselves tagged!

When That Day Comes!

I’ve been blessed with good eyesight most of my life but as I grow older my eyesight is starting to deteriorate. I dread the day when I have to wear glasses!

I think if that day comes I’ll be more inclined to wear contact lenses instead. I needed to find out more about contact lenses and I’m glad I came upon this website that gives unbiased information on contact lenses. There are so many different kind of contact lenses! Hard or soft, daily ones, weekly ones and even monthly ones, disposable ones and also got colored ones. Then there’s even the theatrical contact lenses that make you look like you have alien eyes, blind eyes or even demon eyes! The list goes on and you can even check out the contact lens articles on what’s new in contact lenses. Now at least I’ll be prepared when that day comes!

Liquid Gold!

As most of you may already know, Australia is suffering from a serious drought problem and water is so scarce we may have to drink our own pee soon! Well maybe I stretched the truth a little but water is very precious here.

And because of not much rain the ground starts to dry up and this in turn cracks a lot of the old water pipes underground. This is what happened in my street today. Wuah! I thought I live in front of the river or something! There was water gushing down the entire street! What a waste of precious water!

Not wanting to let these precious water go to waste Terese and I decided to collect some for the gardens. We brought out all the buckets and containers we could find to collect all these water! Then I poured the water on my front yard until the whole front yard is saturated but there's still more water. Then I decided to pour the water in my neighbour's front yard also till it was all soaked up but the water kept coming!

So then I decided to carry the water down to my backyard so the plants there can have a good drink as well. I had to use my little trolley to carry buckets of water to and from the backyard coz it's back breaking work carrying them with my bare hands lah!

Aitelyu we kept at it till my gardens are all soaked up, like a heavy downpour of heavy rain had just came through! My plants are loving it and I'm happy too but still the water kept coming. I did call Yarra Valley Water earlier about the burst water mains and they've been fixing the problem while we were collecting all these water. Even the neighbours came out to collect water for their gardens also! At one stage I could see every households on the street collecting water from the street! Good to see that everyone's getting together to save these precious water.

Well it took 3 hours before the problem was finally fixed and by then it was 8.00 pm! I even used my rubbish bin, recycle bin and green bin to collect more water so I can use them for the gardens in the week to come! I never take water for granted anymore, it's liquid gold!
