Just when we thought the sky is clear of the choking haze we had last week, it came back with a vengence today! And this time its worse than last week with blanketing smoke all across the city.
The haze is caused by smoke from the bushfires that are still raging on in the high country. Today with the help of the northerly wind the haze has return to Melbourne. Temperature is expected to hit 35C tomorrow so its another bad bushfire day and more choking smoke.
As of the 1st of January 2007 stage 3 water restriction will be enforced so residents are not allowed to wash their cars except in commercial carwashs, gardens can only be watered twice a week and only between 6am till 8am and between 8pm till 10pm. My garden will be dead by the time I come back from Malaysia! Die lah!

Go get a timed sprinkler and get it to water your garden between 6-8am and 8-10pm sure no problem!

If only we could re-route the rain from Johor to Aus then everyone's problems would be solved: No floods in Johor and no bush fire/haze in Aus...
