Let me take you to the Victoria State Rose Garden in Werribee. This is a place of peace and beauty.
There are over 4,000 roses of different species occupying the garden beds in the shape of a Tudor Rose. 
The roses include bush roses, climbers and standard roses. Festoons, arches, pillars and pergolas are used to further enhance the gardens design and to show the magnificent blooms to best advantage.
From November to May the blooms in all their glory offer a brilliant contrast of colour across the landscape whilst the heady perfumes wash a romantic aroma through the air.
Located in K Road the State Rose Garden is next door to some of Werribee’s other major attractions like the Werribee Open Range Zoo and the Werribee Mansion.
Admission is free and opening hours are from 9am to 5pm every day.
The roses are nurtured and tended by a team of more than 100 dedicated volunteers.
