Building Boba Fett's Slave 1 Step 2: Painting Boba

It's been a while since my last update on my Boba Fett's Slave 1 project. Truth is I'm taking my sweet time working on this. No hurry, go at my own pace. It gets done when it gets done!

Step 2 involves painting Boba Fett to be seated in the cockpit later on. I needed 14 colors just to paint him! Field blue mixed with flat base for his suit, orange yellow for his shoulder pads & knee pads and so on.

After painting I had to put 2 decals on him; one on the left shoulder pad and another on his right chest plate. The one on his shoulder pad wouldn't stick because it was too small and curvy making it hard to stick. What the heck! You can't see it anyway so why worry? See how small it is, the toothpick gives you an idea of the scale.

you can using a cotton bud to stick the decal. my experience from my airfix day told me you can do it. but what the heck, it is so tiny you probably would not be able to see...
