Greenies Worst Nightmare..

These trees have been sacrificed in the name of progress. The council is replacing old sewerage pipes and these trees are in the way so they have to go.The branches are cut off first leaving the stumps jutting up from the ground.

I hope they won't get rid of the stumps because they make great wooden statues by chainsaw artists that I've seen elsewhere before. Maybe that's what they have in mind so I'd have to check back on them in the near future. Watch this space.
