Payback Time
Here in Australia its almost impossible to run from the taxman. I can't make money fast enough to pay the tax collector, sometimes I wonder why I work so hard for? So they can tax me more to feed the unemployed? Wouldn't it be nice to be on the receiving end? Just getting handouts every fortnight!

Geez, you took your time to do your tax return. Surely you must have received your employer tax certificate in July?!?! Oh well, at least you made it before the ATO deadline.

well, aren't you lucky or what? Do you know over here, we wait until our armpit hair goes white and we still won't catch sight of that tax return cheque? I request for my tax refund so many times until I sien already. And they said in the paper that it will only take 1 month to process refunds. My foot!
go reinvest it. now interest rates high bah..quite positive it'd up again next month, to 6.25%. not good news for me tho, higher exchange rate. fark.
hey next time u hire me to do ur tax lar.. mahaha. hmm.. i think it's a good idea if i were to specialise in tax.
At least they are professional enough to send you the refund. Like Lil Joy said, over here they'll take ages.
But if you default or file your returns late, they fine you! Is this fairness??
