Raspberry Swirl Cake Part 1

Welcome to Wuching's kitchen. Today I'm going to show you an easy way to bake a cake that is just as tasty as the ones you buy at the cake shop. If Wuching can do it so can you!

First up grab yourself a box of quick and easy cake mix from the supermarket. Today I'm using White Wings Divine Raspberry Swirl Cake. You should find sachets of ready to use mixes inside.

Pour the cake mix into a mixing bowl, add 3 eggs, 1 cup water and 4 tablespoon of oil and mix them in well. Use a electric mixer if you like but we were too lazy to take them out or else we have to wash up later. Do it manually will do.

Keep mixing until the mixture is nice and smooth probably after a good 5 to 6 minutes of constant hand mixing.

Next we will prepare the raspberry; empty the raspberry sachet into a small bowl and get 2 tablespoons of the cake mix to mix in well...

...until it is red and smooth.

Pour the rest of the cake mix into the prepared pan lined with baking paper. In our case we decided to use 2 pans so we have 2 smaller cakes instead of 1 big one.

Then we drop the raspberry mix into the cake mix with a spoon but also drizzle it all over the mix to make swirling marks. You can make smiley faces if you want.

Pop them in the oven to bake for 50-60 minutes if you have one big cake but because we separate the cake into 2 we can bake them in half the time.

And here's the cakes after 30 minutes. Next we are going to put frosting on and eat it so stay tuned ya!
