Its very popular to have your house in loud colours like this one here which looks like an orange and lemon mix together. Very zesty indeed! I also notice they like stainless steel front gate and fence which never caught up elsewhere outside Sibu. Maybe I'm wrong but I've yet to find these elsewhere.
This is not a semi-detached house, it is more like a palace! Again the stainless steel gate and fence with grand and regal lamp posts on either sides of the gate. Notice the Mickey mouse and Donald Duck rides just outside the palace.
I was drooling when I saw this one, it looks like someone's birthday cake with yellow and pink icing decorations! All it needs are some candles on the roof!
So you can see Sarawakians don't live in trees, they live in palaces and cakes!

It's my birthday tomorrow - Friday the 13th. Some pals have ordered me a cake. I'll laugh if the icing is yellow + pink... hee hee

whoaaaaaa....i think i saw the first and the 3rd house in Sibu before :P It's a small town ya know :)
alex allied: actually all 3 houses are next to each other on 1 street, maybe the 2nd wasn't completed when u saw the other 2..anyway these were the most colourful houses i've seen in sibu, maybe there are more now, have to go back & check them out!
Some of these houses are really ugly. I rather live on tree than in a crazy house like that.

There are houses like these in Klang Valley but not with 'icing cake color'. :)
