Chinese New Year In Box Hill

Today is Chinese New Year Eve and if you live in Australia you would know that its just another day on the calendar.
So after New Year dinner with the in-laws we went to Box Hill where the local chinese there are having a New Year Party that lasts all night long till 3 in the morning.
You can burn an incense for the Buddhas and pray they protect you this year, I did it too..hehe!
Get to learn how to make beautiful lanterns from beautiful chicks!
Lots and lots of stalls selling New Year stuffs.
There's always someone who wants to be famous!
This Sifu here can write these characters for you to take home for free. Well, not for free but they expect you to make a donation!
Orchids are always popular during Chinese New Year.

Kong Si Fatt Chai! Wan Si Lu Yi! Happy Chinese New Year Everbody!

Did they have firecrackers in Boxhill too? That's my favourite part in China Town. :)

It's after midnight & World War III just ended in your old hometown. :)

Got this SMS from a pal:
"Be ourselves for a better & happy new year. Don't sleep, work & eat like dogs - as most dogs are given bones only for their work." ;)
