This Post Is For 5xmom Because She Asked For It!

5xmom asked to see some fresh produce from the market and I'm happy to oblige. Just as well coz after work Terese and I went to Victoria Market to get some fresh fuits and vegs for the week and I took the opportunity to snap some pictures just for you Lilian!

As you may or may not know that we are having a drought in Australia so some of the prices may shock you so don't be alarmed but here at Victoria Market you can get the best prices for all your fruits and vegs.

I love victoria market. But i like to buy from the white(or other races) than chinese bcos they are friendlier. I was choosing kiwi's from this chinese ahpek and he wasnt all that friendly. He kept on saying "Lady, no need to choose. All same..All same" and kept shaking his head at me. I mean, duh......Why can't i blardee choose my kiwi's?!?! I'm getting it as a gift for someone special and i must make sure its spotless no?!

fashionasia: ur quite right, a lot of asian vendors r very unfriendly, not just in vic market but in asian areas like richmond, footscray & springvale too!

I've never seen a buttercup pumpkin and white onion before. Looks like the only fruits that is expensive is the banana. Yeah! I love sarawak pineapple too.

hijackqueen: yalor! banana in shortage at the moment thus the high price!
