Darebin Parklands

This is Darebin Parklands in Alphington and Ivanhoe. It offers a truly unique and easily accessible environmental and outdoor program aimed at fostering practical skills and knowledge. It is also a popular picnic ground with an interesting walking trail.
You can practically see the city on high ground from this parkland.
Here's a view from the highground, not bad for a park right in the middle of the suburbs.
That's the highground with the small lake in the front. The water in the lake...
...flows down this stony creek into another small lake.
There are a lot of small lakes in this parklands filled with birds and ducks living here.
It is also a popular place for duck feeding(not duck shooting) so I suppose it's a bird sanctuary too.

Look at them go wild when you throw some food in the water! Come on down this weekend, I'm sure you'll like this place. I know I do.
