The Water Shop

Here's something I've never seen in Australia, its the Water Shop! Actually a water vending machine where you can buy fresh purified water for only 20 sen a litre! What a little ripper!

I saw this at the Sibu Market Centre and I just had to take a couple of photos. Yes, I'm so suaku coz I've never seen it before! All type of vending machine I've seen but this is the first time I've seen a water vending machine.

To get your water, put coins in slot, place container like your bottle underneath the dispenser, press the green button to get the water going and press the red button to stop. Water is treated tap water and should be very safe for consumption. No need to boil own water at home here but back in Australia people just drink directly from the tap!

"Oi! Don't shi shi in your bottle to add flavour!" LOL but thank goodness for this guy now that I got this photo like he's peeing in front of the machine! Hahahaha..have a great weekend everyone!

The mother in me wants to hitch up this poor boy's pants....either he has an oversized diaper inside or his tush is just saggy...LOL ! Lucky for us that Melbourne water is clean enuf to drink straight off the tap...but with such stringent water restrictions nowadays, we shall soon be drinking recycled water, and that itself is already happening in some other parts of OZ. Hmmm, recycle from WHAT kinda water one can only imagine....yuks!
